Boris Ritter is a Dubai-based trade promotion specialist and business development leader with over twenty-five years of experience advancing commercial ties across the Middle East — guiding governments and companies through the full cycle of market entry, B2B matchmaking, and investment facilitation across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider GCC.
As co-founder and Managing Partner of SESAM Connect, established in Dubai in 1999, he has built a reputation as a trusted broker among clients and counterparts alike — leading programme design and project execution across a client base spanning government trade agencies, investment promotion organisations, and private sector principals from Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific.
His sectoral depth is anchored in ICT and digital transformation, with programme experience spanning telecoms, e-commerce, construction, energy and sustainability, and healthcare. He led GCC activities for Ontario’s ITDR programme from 2016 to 2019, including significant presence across multiple GITEX editions, and directed B2B matchmaking programmes for Slovakia, Australia, Estonia, and Latvia during Expo 2020 Dubai.

He holds a Diploma from the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen in Applied Business Languages and International Business Administration, with a focus on Business Arabic and Middle Eastern Economies.
